Every Dungeon Master knows the feeling. You buy a one-shot. Twenty pages later, you know everything about the local economy, the political tensions between three forgotten kingdoms, and the childhood of an NPC the players will probably never meet. But what the adventure is actually about? No idea.

In Serum, the players are given a simple yet terrifying objective: survive the night.


That very evening, an ancient tomb has been breached. Since then, the dead walk the land once more. With every passing minute, their numbers grow, and unless someone intervenes, the entire region will be overrun by the undead by sunrise.


To seal the tomb once again, the players must gather clues, help survivors, and discover what truly happened. But time is scarce. Not every side path can be explored. Not everyone can be saved.


As the night grows darker and the zombies press closer, the players must decide what matters most: their mission, their own survival, or the people who need their help.

Very funny and complete adventure, it's the most fun I've ever had running a pre-written one shot. The party was very amused as well and stunned by the props that came with the adventure. The mini's in the package are awesome and very helpful too.
