Zineshot #4: Rotmother's Rhyme
Zineshot #4: Rotmother's Rhyme
Every Dungeon Master knows the feeling.
You buy a one-shot. Twenty pages later, you know everything about the local economy, the political tensions between three forgotten kingdoms, and the childhood of an NPC the players will probably never meet. But what the adventure is actually about? No idea.
Our Zineshots solve that problem.
No endless lore. No hours of preparation. No homework. Just a complete game night, ready to play.
In Rotmother's Rhyme, the players are tasked with tracking down the missing son of a nobleman. Their search leads them to a remote settlement deep in the forest. A place where the forest gnomes behave strangely, ancient rhymes are whispered, and no one seems to be telling them what is truly going on...
Rotmother's Rhyme is our largest Zineshot to date, featuring around six hours of adventure, investigation, roleplay, and meaningful choices.
Like every Zineshot, Rotmother's Rhyme contains everything you need for a complete evening of Dungeons & Dragons.

Prachtig.
Ik ga wel het einde aanpassen voor de tere kinderzieltjes (ze zijn 12).
The atmosphere is excellent and the mystery slowly unfolds in a satisfying way. It requires a bit of guidance from the Dungeon Master, but the payoff is worth it.
The adventure leaves enough room for improvisation. A few scenes are written loosely, which I enjoyed because it let me tailor the tone to my group. Others might prefer more structure.
The story is dark and unusual, with moments that genuinely surprised my group. It is not overly complex, which makes it easy to run, but still full of eerie detail.
This adventure hits the mark in both story and usability. The balance between exploration horror and player agency works really well.

A little gem
Very funny and complete adventure, it's the most fun I've ever had running a pre-written one shot. The party was very amused as well and stunned by the props that came with the adventure. The mini's in the package are awesome and very helpful too.
Its great
Great D&D night with this one-shot! Amazing :)
Ordered the Zineshot Anthology (excellent oneshots that I hope to implement in my Acquisitions Incorporated campaign) and very happy with what I got. Booklets look good, illustrations are light and uplifting and the adventures themselves are great. Shipment was lightning fast, I got my order the day after purchase. Will definitely return!
Great accessory for DND!
